Judith Isaacson, spokesperson for the jeweller, said: "As a mark of respect toward all women, those who can afford life's luxuries, and those who struggle, we are donating ten per cent of the ring sale to Hannah House, a refuge for homeless women and children." The ring features a marquise sapphire in a vivid blue, surrounded by deep green emerald on either side, this is then set against yellow gold to create an art deco look. "When the jade bracelets and the ring are sold, the donation will be executed seamlessly via missionfish.org, the eBay Giving Works organization", Ms Isaacson explained.
