Keren Peled Jewelry has launched a new range of gold jewellery inspired by the ancient Egyptians.

The firm says that it is aiming to offer "romantic and elegant jewellery", which encompasses necklaces, bracelets, earrings and other accessories.

Designer Keren Peled says she drew on the intricacy and skill displayed the Egyptians and travelled extensively through Central America and Europe to refine her technique.

"I have always been fascinated by the ancient Egyptian jewellery of the pharaohs," she said.

"My designs are greatly inspired by their jewellery art, large yet not bulky, and extremely intricate."

The collection will be rolled out to specialist jewellery outlets in the US, with the latest collection continuing to elevate Peled's position in the jewellery industry.
