Friday, 6th May 2005 (5808 views) A gold jewellery fair in India is set to showcase some of the latest innovations in the sector.<br/><br/>Chennai Trade Centre will host the Gold Jewellery India International Exhibition (GJIIE) 2005, with manufacturers, designers and wholesalers all coming together.<br/><br/>The event is being backed by the world Gold Council and also Madras Jewellery and Diamond Merchants' Association (MJDMA) and is expected to prove a big hit.<br/><br/>The latest trends and developments will be one of the key areas of focus for those at the fair, with WGC vice president K Shivram one of those hailing the potential for the event.<br/><br/>At least 8,000 trade professionals are expected to attend the three-day event.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8437996"/>
