Innovation on the agenda at gold jewellery expoFriday, 6th May 2005 (4032 views) A gold jewellery fair in India is set to showcase some of the latest innovations in the sector.Chennai Trade Centre will host the Gold Jewellery India International Exhibition (GJIIE) 2005, with manufacturers, designers and wholesalers all coming together. The event is being backed by the world Gold Council and also Madras Jewellery and Diamond Merchants' Association (MJDMA) and is expected to prove a big hit. The latest trends and developments will be one of the key areas of focus for those at the fair, with WGC vice president K Shivram one of those hailing the potential for the event. At least 8,000 trade professionals are expected to attend the three-day event.
