Friday, 29th April 2005 (8152 views) Summer is being seen as the season for jewellery in Israel, with women being encouraged to wear up-to-date trends such as jangling bracelets, swinging earrings and clicking rings.<br/><br/>The sector is currently booming and Israeli jewellery designs are proving popular all across the world, according to Haaretz.com.<br/><br/>One Israeli jewellery designer Shay Lahover is visiting Amsterdam and taking part in a month-long solo exhibition showcasing his work which includes pendants, rings and gold chains.<br/><br/>Imported jewellery is also proving popular with Israeli consumes with Pandora, Nava Glazer and H Stern all offering the latest designs.<br/><br/>Pandora produces jewellery made with smoothly polished gold and silver set with gems and some items are available for personal design, whilst Nava Glazer offers gold plating and crystals on jewellery to help give a vintage look.<br/><br/>For something a little more ethnic H Stern offers gold jewellery inspired by Indian feather art and ritual artefacts such as flat gold bead chains symbolising India river conch beads and a gold-seed chain inspired by the seed belt worn by young Indian girls.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8388889"/>
