Friday, 29th April 2005 (6346 views) Jewellery designer K Robins has helped to create a new piece of jewellery to help raise awareness of cardiovascular disease.<br/><br/>The HeartBright Foundation in America has called upon K Robins to create the Healer necklace, which is available in either 14-carat gold or silver.<br/><br/>Claire Blocker, president for HeartBright, said: "We were drawn to the Healer because of the artist's concept and personal description of this design 'The Healer and the Healed become one.'<br/><br/>"The Healer will be used as an innovative fundraising tool to raise awareness of what we do to serve people who are at risk for cardiovascular disease and to act as a liaison between this high-risk individual and essential community resources."<br/><br/>From the funds raised from sales of the jewellery, 50 per cent will be given to the foundation.<br/><br/>The crafted symbol pendant comes with a black silk cord and is just one of a host of pendants the US jeweller designs.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8388554"/>
