A new jewellery collection is being sold through collectibles and antique website Ice Originals II.

The collection includes jewellery using gold and other precious metals and dates from the 1800s to mid 1900s.

From a New York estate, some of the jewellery is of European descent and the items are now available for members of the public to buy.

A number of the pieces including hand chasing and enamel inlaid into gold, with items including watch pins, sash pins and brooches,

In addition well cut steel and gold earrings are also included.

According to the company, some of the items have been so well stored and protected that they actually look like new.

Some pieces the firm has obtained are not for sale such as several pre-1860 pieces that are made from gold and contain precious stones such as diamonds and rubies.
