LMVH to launch new products for Indian marketWednesday, 13th April 2005 (4304 views) LMVH has announced it is looking towards India to market its luxury jewellery products.The company's watch and jewellery business is planning to launch a new watch under its Dior brand in India. The Bagheera range includes timepieces for men and women, with watches priced at Rs48,500. According to the company the watch will be promoted as product designed for togetherness. In addition, the La de Dior jewellery range created by Victoire de Castellane, is set for release by September, according to the Business Standard. Items will be made from gold and contain various precious stones, priced between Rs50,000 to Rs60,000. Cities such as Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore are the first target areas for the company. The company now views India as one of the top 12 markets.
