Chopard has announced the launch of a new range of pendants.

The jeweller and watchmaker has joined forces with luxury good retailer Mandala to create a series of limited edition Om pendants.

Each pendant will be available in either 18-carat white or yellow gold, with Om symbolising peace, life, power, knowledge and strength.

The symbol, from the Hindu and Buddhist religions, is also said to combine the past, present and future.

According to the company, the new pendants will be showcased at the Chopard Boutique on Madison Avenue in New York.

Each pendant includes a diamond studded Om symbol suspended between two pieces of sapphire crystal, with the Chopard logo engraved on the rim of the pendant's circle.
