Wednesday, 23rd March 2005 (8436 views) The Wal-Mart chain has announced it will open several non-food Asda outlets in the UK this spring.<br/><br/>Stores will sell the new jewellery offering Asda created, along with other non-food items, according to National Jeweler.<br/><br/>The first Asda Living store was opened this year in Walsall, with another set to open in Altrincham on April 1st and Barnsley on May 27th.<br/><br/>In addition, George stores will open in Swansea on April 8th, Chester on May 6th and in Norwich during June.<br/><br/>The food retailer started selling jewellery in January this year.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8097595"/>
