Wednesday, 16th March 2005 (6105 views) Jewellery company Pure Gold has opened a new branch in Dubai's Gold Souk this week.<br/><br/>The new store is another addition to the network of Pure Gold outlets already successful in the country and the company plans to open 35 stores by the end of next year.<br/><br/>It is hoped the new outlet will increase sales by 25 to 30 per cent and it will house three million grams of gold.<br/><br/>In addition, semi precious stone, antique jewellery, a vast collection of diamonds and the largest gold necklace in the region will also be stored there.<br/><br/>Mr Karim Merchant, managing director of Pure Gold Jewellers, said: "The Gold Souk store is an important branch for us. <br/><br/>"We have invested AE$25 million into this particular store and have provided what we feel is the perfect jewellery shopping experience."<br/><br/>Pure Gold is now seen as one of the top three players in the jewellery market, with stores situated across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Sharjah<br/><br/>"Our growth reflects our success within the market. We are committed to investing our time, efforts and capital into our growth.
