Jewellery show proves a successMonday, 14th March 2005 (3978 views) Organisers are expecting this summer's Atlanta Jewellery Show to be a success, following the popularity and positive feedback of the show in February. The Southern Jewelry Travelers Association (SJTA) organised the show, which ran from February 26th to 28th at the Cobb Galleria Centre outside Atlanta. According to the association, attendance was up and orders boomed, helped by a new programme allowing buyers to earn airline miles based on purchases. Carol Young, executive director, SJTA, told JCK: "We at SJTA are extremely pleased with the attendance numbers and the overwhelmingly positive response from exhibitors. The You Buy, You Fly programme was once again a tremendous success." A seminar programme discussing industry topics also proved popular, along with the Oscar themed Buyer Gala and gas card reward programme. "With its great buyer rewards programs, dynamic seminar topics, tremendous selection and reputation for delivering southern hospitality, the Atlanta Jewelry Show continues to attract a steady base of first-time and returning attendees," Ms Young added. The summer show will be held at the same venue from August 6th to 8th.
