Wednesday, 9th March 2005 (5989 views) A US fashion show saw a jewellery designer return to her original home this week.<br/><br/>Jewellery designer, Lillian Ostergard, attended the Oscar de la Renta fashion show in Jacksonville, showcasing some of her work.<br/><br/>Ms Ostergard worked at Christie's Auction House for ten years, then moved onto the Vendura jewellery company for eight years, according to the Jax Daily Record.<br/><br/>Her own jewellery company Lillian H Ostergard has been running for eight years now and is proving a big success.<br/><br/>"I've been interested in jewellery and design for a long time," she said.<br/><br/>A friend had asked the designer to take part in the event, so she donated a pearl necklace.<br/><br/>Ms Ostergard's jewellery is always made from 18 carat yellow or white gold or platinum, with a big focus on animals and nature.<br/><br/>Items include rings, necklaces and brooches and the jeweller likes to add humour to her items and colour, with prices ranging from $1,000 to $15,000.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7986870"/>
