The gold wedding ring, signifying the marriage of the Prince of Wales and Princess Diana, will no longer feature on the hands of the Prince.<br/><br/>According to reports, the royal ring has now been removed from Prince Charles' finger, after he was photographed yesterday for the first time not wearing the gold item.<br/><br/>Camilla Parker Bowles, the Prince's fiancee has also removed her plain gold band wedding ring from her previous marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles.<br/><br/>The Prince did remove his wedding ring after his divorce but began wearing it after the death of the Princess of Wales in 1997.<br/><br/>A courtier told the Times: "It is natural and logical that when they marry they will not be wearing rings from their previous marriages. They both felt that the time was right to do it now."<br/><br/>Ms Parker Bowles will be wearing a wedding ring made from a nugget of Welsh gold when she marries the Prince, keeping in line with Royal tradition.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7976961"/>
