Monday, 7th March 2005 (8961 views) The Alukkas jewellery showroom in Oman has undergone a makeover in order to attract more customers and offer more products.<br/><br/>Showrooms have already been renovated in Kuwait and Dubai, according to the Times of Oman.<br/><br/>Joy Alukkas, chairman of the Alukkas group, and Yassin bin Jaffer, managing director of Al Zawra, both helped to mark the opening of the revamped store.<br/><br/>Joy Alukkas said: "We are indeed very happy to open the renovated showroom of Alukkas in Oman. <br/><br/>"This new showroom has been enhanced to a consumer-friendly showroom, making it enticing for the eyes and providing a wide range of designs and new range of branded jewellery to our customers in Oman. Oman has been a good market for us and [a] lot of planning and investment has been put into the renovation."<br/><br/>The showroom also includes new gold and diamond jewellery collections, with Mayoori, Florenteena, Dora and Trisha collections now available to gold jewellery customers.<br/><br/>Alukkas Jewellery is the flagship company of the Joy Alukkas Group, it has 38 outlets spread across the Gulf and jewellery includes more than 100,000 designs.<br/><br/>The Joy Alukkas Group also mints and markets its own brand of 24-carat gold coin, the One World coin, in various weights to suit every budget.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7968587"/>
