Film Star Keira Knightley has revealed that she finds premieres rather daunting.

The young British actress has revealed that she gets tongue-tied when talking to other stars and feels nervous when wearing expensive jewellery at premiers.

"George Clooney produced my latest film, The Jacket, and he was only there for one day. I think I managed to say hello and goodbye," she told B magazine.

"I have to tell myself 'This cost a tenner in Topshop,' otherwise I freak out," she said.

The actress has appeared in a number of films including Love Actually, Pirates of the Caribbean and Bend it Like Beckham.

The star, who is still just 19, has also recently won an award in the US for having the "best abs".
