US actress Halle Berry is to set impress at this year's Academy Awards.<br/><br/>This year, Ms Berry will be walking down the red carpet in nothing less than $1 million worth of footwear.<br/><br/>The Hollywood star has been given a pair of diamond-encrusted shoes by LA designer Stuart Weitzman, on loan for the special occasion.<br/><br/>Mr Weitzman is well known for his unique trademark shoe material, including 24 carat gold, vinyl, cork and wallpaper.<br/><br/>Ms Berry is one of around a dozen presenters for this year's awards which is set to air on February 27th.<br/><br/>The star has featured in films including Catwoman, Monsters Ball and Die Another Day.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7755409"/>
