Mayor's Jewelers has recorded a huge sales increase for the second consecutive year during the 2004 November-December period.

Overall sales increased 14 per cent and sales in comparable stores increased 13 per cent as compared to the holiday season last year.

"Consumer demand for jewellery was expected to be strong this holiday season, which enabled us to further capitalize on the plans we had in place," said Thomas A. Andruskevich, Mayor's CEO.

Mr Andruskevich attributed some of the success to the company's two new in-house designers, Esty and Michele della Valle, and their exclusive autumn collections.

A new print and television advertising campaign named 'Be Spectacular' put an extra sheen on sales figures.

Mayor's currently operates 28 stores; 23 in Florida, and five in Georgia.
