Thursday, 6th January 2005 (6058 views) A special pen has been launched by diamond company Le Lumiere, made from gold and diamonds.<br/><br/>The luxury item has been launched by tennis players Venus and Serena Williams in Hong Kong, according to Diamonds.net.<br/><br/>Named the 'Hearts and Arrows Diamond Pen', the writing instrument features a 0.10 carat to 1.0 carat hearts and arrows diamond.<br/><br/>The upper barrel of the pen is made from 18-carat white gold and holds the stone.<br/><br/>Already patented in 107 countries, the pen is the first of its kind and prices start at $500.<br/><br/>The item is targeted at both men and women and comes with a certificate and Le Lumiere inscription.<br/><br/>Pens will be available on the global jewellery retail market once the company has selected exclusive distributors.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7501357"/>
