Thursday, 6th January 2005 (5734 views) A gold pendant has been created to help raise funds for orphans in Sri Lanka, following the tsunami disaster.<br/><br/>Designer Jane Taylor has created a pendant, which will be sold globally and available in 18 carat and 14 carat gold or silver.<br/><br/>Ms Taylor commented: "These children have no homes and no parents. I am overwhelmed with the desire to help them."<br/><br/>Called 'Rala', the pendant is named after the Sri Lankan word for wave and will contain two waves inside a circle.<br/><br/>The jeweller is known for her Chubby Bezel design and will donate all profits to a Sri Lankan orphanage that was hit during the tsunami.<br/><br/>Thousands of orphans have been created as a result of the event on December 26th.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7500912"/>
