Indo-Italian festival opens with jewellery fashion showMonday, 6th December 2004 (4133 views) Gold jewellery developed in Italy is being showcased at a two-week long cultural festival in India.The 'Festa Italiana' festival was organised by the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI), designed to boost trade between the two countries. "Gold designs showcased here were developed by Italian designers through a worldwide survey conducted three years ago," said Sanjeev Agarwal, managing director, World Gold Council (Indian subcontinent). "The good thing is that Indian designers will now get an insight into international designs," he added.
