UK jeweller plans new store openingsWednesday, 17th November 2004 (4078 views) A double-award winning UK jeweller has announced the opening of two new stores, as his business continues to grow.Jeweller Ian Jones first opened an AZENDI store in 1989 and customers flocked there to purchase original looking jewellery, according to Leeds Today. Since then stores have opened in York, Harrogate and Reading, with a full time designer employed to make sure items continue to be inspiring and innovative. Now the company is planning to open two new stores in Leeds and Edinburgh. Owner Ian Jones commented: "We have purposely not followed the route of most jewellery retailers. Gone are the trays of engagement rings and watches. "In their place are beautifully-designed modern pieces in white gold, platinum, titanium, silver and steel - many set with diamonds, citrene and smoky quartz." Mr Jones explained that the company's designer helps to keep jewellery unique and fresh and allow the firm to react to changes in the market more quickly than traditional stores.
