India's Diwansons Jewellers has celebrated its sixth anniversary this week, attended by actress Indrani Halder.

Ms Halder was continuously praising the jewellers, explaining that jewellery is her passion, according to The Telegraph India.

"I like the ambience of the shop and its collection of ethnic jewellery. I will certainly borrow these pieces for film shoots," she said.

Although the jeweller is better known for traditional items, the event showcased some trendy diamond gold jewellery sets too.

The company is now offering heavy sets, which are often bought as investments for families.

Celebrations for the company's anniversary are to continue until November 1 and customers will be treated to special privileges and free gifts during the period.

"Customers can play games on purchases of jewellery above a certain amount of money and win gold and diamond sets," Bimal Diwan from the company explained.
