Music player company Jens of Sweden has launched a golden new product - a gold plated MP3 player.

According to Mobile Mag, the high-class MP-400 Excentrique MP3 player has 24 carat gold plating.

Jens Nylander, founder and CEO of Jens of Sweden commented: "We live in an age when jewellery increasingly has more than one function.

"Jens of Sweden is not an electronic product to keep in your pocket, it is an accessory to adorn your neck, and this is the most exclusive music jewellery in the world today."

The product costs $1100 and is the same as the MP-400 model the company released last week, apart from the fact its made from gold.
