Gold jewellery adds extra glamour to Paris Fashion WeekTuesday, 12th October 2004 (4368 views) The latest fashion collections to grace the catwalks of Paris have had a golden feel about them with delicate gold jewellery used for an evening look and chunky ethnic pieces for the daytime.Displaying the Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche womenswear debut at Fashion Week was Stefano Pilati, whilst Alber Elbaz offered a delicate line for Lanvin and Antonio Marras impressed with his pieces for Kenzo. Among the pieces included were tiny pleated dresses for evening by Alber Elbaz, teaming them with tiny jewels and gold brocade pieces, according to AFP. In addition, Antonio Marras went with Kenzo's travel theme and offered geometric designs and floral prints with chunky gold ethnic jewellery, which is being described as the must for next summer. The collections closed out the catwalk shows from the big fashion houses in Paris and now young and promising talents are set to reveal their selections.
