The fourth edition of the 'Oroarezzo NY 2004' show took place this week in New York, impressing US consumers with the latest Italian jewellery designs.

As part of the event, 17 jewellery manufacturers from Italy bought their collections to the Waldorf Astoria - including trendy pieces aimed at consumers and higher-end gold jewellery and chains.

Only wholesalers and featured companies were allowed to attend the event, which was invitation only, according to National Jeweler.

Other popular jewellery included at the event were cross pendants, charm bracelets and baby jewellery.
