Indian women are going mad over the latest gold jewellery offerings being released for India's festive season.<BR/><BR/>Among the companies to release new collections are Tanishq, Diagold and Metro Plaza.<BR/><BR/>According to the Telegraph, India, Indian consumers are particularly fond of gold metal, precious pearls and precious stones and mixes of modern and traditional designs.<BR/><BR/>"Women are going more for plain designs that can go with all kinds of dresses…. something they can wear both with saris and salwar kurtas," Dwaipayan Sen, regional business manager, east, Tanishq explained.<BR/><BR/>Tanishq has now released a host of collections, which offer pieces suitable for every occasion, whilst Diagold offers gold mixed with South Sea pearls from the shores of Tahiti.<BR/><BR/>In addition, Metro Plaza offers a smarter alternative with dressy earrings and smart pendants.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3532028"/>
