Garrard goes golden with new collectionThursday, 9th September 2004 (4842 views) London based Garrard Jewellery has created a new gold collection, with Jade Jagger currently attempting to find the right face to display it.The 'Raj' collection is the tenth one created by Ms Jagger and she claims that she believes she has now convinced critics she is the best woman for the British jewellery house. Ms Jagger told Vogue: "With sales going through the roof and the excellent reaction to this latest collection, I'm pretty confident we've won most people over." The selection of pieces are inspired by Ancient Egyptian and Byzantine influences and Indian imagery. A key aim for Ms Jagger is to move away from Garrard's old image and this is displayed in the chunky gold coin bracelets, chandelier necklaces and earrings and skull rosaries. "I want jewellery to be accessible to everybody. After all, it's an investment," she said.
