Businessman dazzling Scotland with his golden smileThursday, 9th September 2004 (4055 views) A second hand dealer in Scotland has proved he really does have a golden smile, after having solid gold pound signs embedded in his teeth. The dental detailing is a rather bizarre version of the recently popular tooth jewellery in the US and is the result of a chance meeting with a new dentist to the area, according to the Scotsman. Dentist Stephen Gilchrist of the Lab Onette dental laboratory in Whitburn completed the procedure and said: "I've done a few different designs for people, including crowns in Rangers and Celtic colours, but this was pretty unusual. I've been told I should copyright it these gold pound signs were actually embedded into the teeth." Harry Adams, the owner of Second Hand World in Whitburn was already well known in the area and claims that his newly decorated teeth make him even more recognisable. The dealer has had his new teeth for over three weeks now and his only complaint is that when he's trying to make deals people think he is richer than he is because of his teeth.
