The Crown Prince of the Sultanate of Brunei has married today in a lavish ceremony, being described as Asia's wedding of the year.<BR/><BR/>To help add to the traditional Malay ceremony, gold was used as a key feature - with a gold crown and throne for the Prince.<BR/><BR/>The 30-year-old prince and his 17-year-old bride even travelled in top style, driving a gold open-topped Rolls Royce across the capital.<BR/><BR/>As well as a traditional snake-bladed Malay dagger tucked into the Prince's slash, his bride also wore an outfit adorned with gold.<BR/><BR/>According to BBC News Online, the ceremony was attended by two thousand guests including royalty and politicians from all over the world.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3384276"/>
