Russian gold jewellery displayed in new exhibitionMonday, 9th August 2004 (4070 views) The famous Faberge eggs are to be on display in Santa Fe as part of a new exhibition of Russian royalty.According to Mercury News, the new exhibition running until September looks into the lives of Nicholas and Alexandra Romanov. Merchants are now selling icons and tiny miniature Faberge inspired egg jewellery as part of the event. Other items on display at the expo include the 'Imperial Basket of Lilies of the Valley', which is a gold 'wicker' basket filled with 'moss' made from green spun gold. Russian themed events are proving so popular now that over 175 events were agreed early on and more have been added throughout the summer.
