Police are on the hunt after a £17 million gold necklace covered in 116 diamonds was stolen from Japan.<BR/><BR/>Armed police have now raided a home in Aberdeen in connection with the robbery, which also saw several other pieces of jewellery stolen, according to BBC News Online.<BR/><BR/>The joint operation between Interpol and Grampian police officers has not resulted in anyone being charged.<BR/><BR/>Items were originally stolen from the Le Supre-Diamant Couture de Maki boutique in Tokyo.<BR/><BR/>Reportedly the inquiry which is being led by Tokyo police is still ongoing.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3026651"/>
