Tuesday, 13th July 2004 (6343 views) New Zealand gold jewellery chain Michael Hill International has revealed a rocket in sales.<BR/><BR/>The company has reported that its worldwide sales have increased by over 15 per cent during the past year and now stand at $259 million.<BR/><BR/>According to xtraMSN, performance has also improved in the firm's New Zealand stores, with same store sales also improving by 7.2 per cent to more than $230 million.<BR/><BR/>In addition its Canada operation saw a 150 per cent improvement in total sales, moving them up to just under $6 million.<BR/><BR/>Although profit figures are not yet due, shares in the business have already increased.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3021743"/>
