Colour proves popular at JCK ShowFriday, 11th June 2004 (3939 views) Colour was the key at this month's JCK Show in Las Vegas, as jewellery designs included coloured gold and gemstones. The event, which took place from June 4-8, saw jewellers also showcasing some innovation and breakthroughs in technology, according to Professional Jeweler. Designs remained colourful but rather than the use of two tone yellow and white gold styles, designs were using white and yellow metals on their own for single colour looks. However richer golds were used in a lot of styles and designs were focused on the goddess look, according to trend consultant Paula Peterson at Crown Luxury. Reportedly Jackie Kennedy Onassis is another style figure, along with those from the 1960s, leading to circular designs and cuffs, ear clips and brooches. In addition symbols and charms were popular, with the biggest innovation shown in watch designs, with many including colourful dials and designed with a bracelet look.
