Swiss group Richemont has released its full year sales figures and suggested the global market for top-end jewellery and watches has a positive outlook.<BR/><BR/>Among the brands included in Richemont is Cartier, with reports stating that a steady improvement has been occurring in the global market since last summer.<BR/><BR/>The group told the Financial Times: "The group's results in the first half of this year will inevitably benefit from the improved performance that we are currently seeing."<BR/><BR/>Key areas of particular growth in the final quarter included the US and Asia.<BR/><BR/>So far 2004 has also proved positive with sales for April and May rising by 23 per cent and 21 per cent accordingly.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2798476"/>
