A US entrepreneur has proved successful in the jewellery market, producing top items for stars including Madonna and Michael Jackson.

Jewellery made and designed by Harout Kioudjian is seen all across the world and has featured on television, in magazines and is sold in upmarket US jewellery stores.

Among the items produced by the jeweller is a gold pendant in the shape of a music note, which was made for Madonna.

"I felt good making things [and] creating designs. The creativity of it, it's endless. There's always something to learn. It doesn't end," Mr Kioudjian of HK Quantum explained to La Canada Online.

He first began working with jewellery at the age of seven and now makes his creations in a factory based in North Hollywood.

Reputation of the jeweller was also spread after musician Daniel O'Connor commissioned Mr Kioudjian to design and produce unique jewellery for him, with his latest project involving a gold ring with a skull design.

According to the jeweller his success is down to his approach to customers, treating them like friends. He explained: "To me, a person is more important than a business."
