Gold expo produces top sales resultsMonday, 10th May 2004 (4356 views) Sales were booming at the Wonders of Gold exhibition this year, with figures reaching around BD 400,000.The exhibition held by Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and organised by the Bahrain Convention and Exhibition Bureau (BCEB) had a huge 8,770 visitors. BCEB acting general manager Kadem Esa Al Saeed told Gulf Daily News: "The positive feedback we have received from our exhibitors and visitors has encouraged us to consider holding the next show during the first quarter of next year at the BIEC." As part of the event 28 Bahraini firms put their products on show at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). The Commerce Ministry, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bahrain Training Institute also all helped to form the event.
