Iran opens jewellery museum as part of festivitiesMonday, 10th May 2004 (4406 views) A host of diverse jewellery items are to go on display in a new clothes and jewellery museum in Iran.It is hoped the jewellery will highlight the unification of religion and art during the Qajar era in Iran, according to Mehr News. A variety of different jewellery will be showcased that has been designed for men and women. The display is part of Cultural Heritage Week and World Museum Day and will be opened in Mo'aven al-Mulk Tekiyyeh (a site for religious ceremonies) in Kermanshah. The Tekiyyeh was originally opened and decorated in 1902 when social and religious ceremonies were first held there.
