Reclaimed Imelda Marcos jewellery to be auctionedTuesday, 13th April 2004 (4288 views) Around $10 million worth of jewellery once owned by Imelda Marcos is to be auctioned in either London, New York or Hong Kong."The jewellery has been independently valued and found to be genuine," explained chairperson of the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG), Haydee Yorac told inq. Already two international auction houses have shown interest in the items obtained by the PCGG. The designs are from the billions of dollars stolen by Ms Marcos and her deceased husband Ferdinand Marcos. So far no specific auction date has been revealed for the jewellery collection.
