Tuesday, 6th April 2004 (4292 views)

A new 18 carat gold jewellery collection is to be launched in the US between designer Diane Von Furstenberg and Brazilian jeweller H. Stern.

The new 'Diane von Furstenberg by H. Stern' jewellery will see designs inspired by Ms von Furstenberg's lifestyle, experiences and personality with an innovative use of precious gems and diamonds and dramatic shapes.

Roberto Stern, President and Chief Designer of H. Stern said: "What attracted us to Diane von Furstenberg is her personal style and her many accomplishments in the world of style over the years…. All of these things inspired us to create jewellery that would not only embody her spirit and her lifestyle, but would also appeal to the women of today".

Items will be priced at around $600 to $35,000 and will be previewed in June this year, then go on to retail in New York stores from October.

H. Stern has 160 stores over 12 countries and has clients including Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Sharon Stone.
