Victoria Beckham is to add a posh touch to the jewellery industry after this week she revealed plans to launch her own jewellery range.

The former Spice Girls star reportedly visited Italian jewellers Damiani on a recent trip to Milan.

Her new range which will be on offer through the family-run jewellery chain are likely to be available in Europe, America, Dubai, Russia, Switzerland and the Far East.

Posh Spice is not the only star to move into the world of jewellery, Brad Pitt also now has his own line of wedding cufflinks, rings, bracelets and pendants with his name engraved inside.

The Hollywood actor designed his range after creating an engagement ring and white gold diamond-studded wedding rings for himself and Jennifer Aniston with Silvia Damiani.

Jade Jagger, daughter of Rolling Stone's Sir Mick will be a key rival if Posh does go ahead with her range since she already has a deal with Garrard jewels to provide jewellery for rappers and actors.
